Revolution Software have released a brand new trailer for Broken Sword: The Serpent’s Curse in celebration of the news that the title will also be coming to the PS Vita when it’s released later this year.
It’s no secret that I’m a huge Broken Sword fan, the series being one of my all-time favourite franchises, and I’ve been dying to hear any news about the project since it was originally launched on Kickstarter last year. The new trailer showcases some of the new titles hand-drawn art style as well as the variety of beautifully crafted environments and new and returning fan-favourite characters. It’s certainly enough to feed the appetite of even the most ravenous Broken Sword fan.
The story for Broken Sword: The Serpent’s Curse starts when a mysterious painting is stolen during an armed raid on a Paris gallery. Lawyer George Stobbart and sassy journalist Nico Collard are once again thrown by chance into the investigation together as they travel from Paris to London and beyond in a race against time as dark forces from Europe’s turbulent past are woken from their slumber.
“For fifteen years the escapades of George and Nico have challenged and delighted millions of fans. Celebrated for its thoughtful mysteries, ingenious puzzles, loveable characters and witty dialogue, the series continues to appeal to a wide contemporary audience yearning for compelling story-driven games”, says Noirin Carmody, Founder and COO of Revolution.
