Whilst both Dawnguard and Hearthfire DLC packs have been released for Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on PC and Xbox 360, PS3 fans are still waiting for the first DLC pack to arrive on their consoles. Bethesda vice president of public relations and marketing Pete Hines has spoken out once again to state that the lack of a PS3 Skyrim DLC is on Bethesda.
Following today’s announcement that the latest Skyrim DLC, Hearthfire, is now available on Steam, PS3 Elder Scrolls fans took to Twitter to ask just where the hell their DLC packs are. In response to one fans tweet accusing Bethesda of blaming Sony for the lack of DLC on the PS3 version, Hine’s stated “We’ve never blamed anyone or anything. It’s our problem, and it’s on us to solve it.”
When asked by another fan as to just what the hold up is, Hine’s tweeted “The performance isn’t good enough in all cases. for most folks, it’d be fine. For some, it wouldn’t be.”
Bethesda publicly spoke out in August around the issues with DLC on the PS3, commenting that “This is not a problem we’re positive we can solve, but we are working together with Sony to try to bring you this content.”
