Whilst both Dawnguard and Hearthfire DLC packs have been released for Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on PC and Xbox 360, PS3 fans are still waiting for the first DLC pack to arrive on their consoles. Bethesda vice president of public relations and marketing Pete Hines has spoken out once again to state that the lack of a PS3 Skyrim DLC is on Bethesda.

Following today’s announcement that the latest Skyrim DLC, Hearthfire, is now available on Steam, PS3 Elder Scrolls fans took to Twitter to ask just where the hell their DLC packs are. In response to one fans tweet accusing Bethesda of blaming Sony for the lack of DLC on the PS3 version, Hine’s stated “We’ve never blamed anyone or anything. It’s our problem, and it’s on us to solve it.”

When asked by another fan as to just what the hold up is, Hine’s tweeted “The performance isn’t good enough in all cases. for most folks, it’d be fine. For some, it wouldn’t be.”

Bethesda publicly spoke out in August around the issues with DLC on the PS3, commenting that “This is not a problem we’re positive we can solve, but we are working together with Sony to try to bring you this content.”

I wonder if they know how bad of a rap this is getting them with all loyal PS3 owners. I am not going to buy another system an the game again only to get the DLC. No matter how much I love the game, that is too much. On to Assassin's creed 3!

nah bethesda its not your problem...your problem is convincing anyone with a playstation to ever give two fucks about one of your games again....far too much competition out there to continue worrying if your obviously incompetent dev teams can manage to code a game right...some near impossible feat apparently...just too bad that literally every other company out there has figured it out years ago and has down to a science... so good luck with that
