At the Tokyo Game Show Capcom have announced new DLC for Dragon’s Dogma. There will be two new modes for players to complete, both free of charge and both scheduled for release before the end of 2012.
Hard Mode is exactly what it says on the tin. The difficulty level of the game will be ramped up with enemies becoming tougher to beat but the rewards being greater when/if you do. Speedrun will challenge players to complete the game as quickly as they can. There will be set times and if players can beat them then they will be rewarded with bonus equipment.
Capcom has also hinted at more DLC pencilled in for 2013. Titled Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, the only details we have about the new content is that it will be a “an exciting and major expansion to the Dragon’s Dogma universe”, a few screenshots and this short but sweet teaser trailer.
Dragon’s Dogma is an RPG from Capcom set in the world where an Ancient Dragon has been reborn and is causing terror and destruction across the land. Released earlier this year, the game has gone on to sell over a million copies and Capcom are unsurprisingly considering turning the game into a new franchise.
Dragon’s Dogma is out now for PS3 and Xbox 360.
