The latest in the long line of HD remasters has been delayed another month. Insomniac’s PS2 trilogy of Ratchet and Clank titles were due to get an HD remaster released on May 16th, but they now wont arrive until June.

The pack contains all three of the titles upscaled to 1080p. Amazon is listing the new date as June 8th, giving an extra three weeks on the original date.

No reason has been given as to why the pack has been pushed back, but buyers may be wary. Silent Hill’s HD Collection was delayed several times to improve the title which still released to a disapproving chorus of fans. The delay could be needed to add extra polish to the title, or just to make it more up to scratch with Sony’s previous first party remasters.

Ratchet & Clank HD Trilogy will be released June 8th 2012 for PS3.
